The first solution is to allow printer to cool off, so that the very hot fuser can come back to normal temperature. Here is how you can do it:
  • Switch off your printer by pressing the power key.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the rear of your printer.
  • Give your printer a rest time of at least two to three minutes.
  • After the wait, please connect the power cord back into the printer.


Tip: Please connect the power cord directly to the wall outlet, instead of any power surge plug.
  • Press the power button to power on the printer.
  • Wait again to allow your printer to get ready.


Quick Fix 2:

If the above solution doesn’t helps, you can resolve the error by following method:
  • Firstly locate the ‘Clear Modes’ button on the control panel of your Ricoh Printer and then press it.
  • Now go to numeric key pad and press ‘1.’
  • Now press ‘0.’
  • And then press ‘7.’

Note: Make sure you press and release the number keys in the exact order as mentioned above.
  • Now you need to press and hold the ‘Stop’ button. Please continue to press this button until ‘service mode’ and ‘three soft keys’ get displayed on the LCD of your printer.
  • Please press ‘Exit’ button. (You can find it on the touch screen of your printer towards the upper right hand corner.)
  • By pressing the ‘Exit’ button you can bring back the printer from service mode to the normal operational mode.
  • Now you need to turn off the printer. (The main power button is located on the side or the front of the machine- depending on the Ricoh printer model you own.)
  • Wait for a while to allow your printer to adjust with the newly made changes.
  • After the wait please switch on the machine.
